Chevis English
Principal Blogger
One of my favorite things to do when I was a little girl was to go up to my dad’s office and make my own make-up and dip my hands in the paraffin wax (luckily he had very patient estheticians). Even at such a young age, I had a passion for beauty products, health and all things fashion. My intentions for this blog are to talk about the things I love, help others and hope to get input and feedback from them in the process.
The name for this blog came about because every time somebody finds out what my dad does, they ask me a ton of questions about procedures and numerous other things with the number one question being, “What have you had done?”
I plan not to just write about beauty, style and health in this blog, but also to discuss medical questions and new procedures that are now popular among the younger generations. With that being said, I am not here to promote plastic surgery; I do believe in being happy with your self (why else would I keep chicken pock scars all over my forehead?), but people are going to do things sometimes because it just makes them feel better and who is anyone to judge (I once had Botox shot under my arms in order to decrease perspiration. Some people thought it was crazy but it made me feel better and they were my underarms!).
Consider me an open book. I will not lie to anyone who asks me a question, and I will only post my honest* opinion about everything I discuss. I will also look to my dad for answers, advice, and his knowledge about the medical field, as he is my go-to doctor for any questions or inquiries people may have.
I hope you enjoy my confessions and don’t hesitate to email me at any time!
*Side note: Honesty is definitely one of my strongest characteristics. Some say I am too honest at times, but I would rather say what I think than tell a lie even if it isn’t what someone wants to hear.

Dr. Jim English
Go-to Doctor
Jim English M.D. (My Daddy) is the surgical director and owner of the English Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Center and Surgi-Spa in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery as well as the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He has an immense dedication to helping men and women feel better about themselves physically and emotionally, and after being in practice for 25 years, he has been able to help numerous people achieve a self-confidence they never thought possible.
He operates on a daily basis under a saying he learned from one of his mentors; “Don’t give less than what you are capable of even if it costs you more than most are willing to pay.” When I was younger, he taught me a similar rhyme he learned from his dad that I try to live by on a daily basis as well; “Good, better, best—never let it rest ‘til your good is better and your better best.”
He was behind me all the way when I decided to write this blog about beauty, fashion, and stay fit tips, and kindly offered to help when I asked if he would be my go-to doctor for inquiries and answers to medical questions. With that being said, if you have any questions that you would like answered by a medical professional, then send them our way on the ask the dr. page of this blog and we will get back with you as soon as we can. If you have any inquiries about my daddy’s practice you can visit his site at www.surgeoncosmetic.com.
