My other skin-related worry is the hyperpigmentation left behind from past breakouts, and exfoliation is key to helping my skin's natural.

That masque sounds amazing and I am in dire need of a facial. I started a new job recently and my face is still adjusting to the change in pace. Needless to say it's looking a bit haggard! I will call sometime next week to set something up. Thanks for keeping me up to date with the new products! See you soon :-)

Thanks Chevis! I am still ready for you to come back...lets see what your schedule looks like over the next couple weeks. We have an incredible new Eminence facial, called the "Sweet Cheeks Facial". It has a Strawberry Rhubarb Masque, a really fun new dermafoliant product, and a great strawberry hyaluronic serum...just to mention a few of the new Eminence products! It has been extremely popular. Let me know when you can make it. I would love for you to come try Kim.

I am so sorry to hear about your facial not being what you had hoped. I completely understand your perspective of Facelogic vs. Massage Envy, and sincerely appreciate your feedback as I am always trying to make sure that I am aware of how we are perceived and how we can always work to improve the experience of our guests. We are not meant to be a high end day spa, but what we do strive to be is a place that you can get excellent skincare, massage, waxing, tanning, etc at more affordable prices and that is why the membership program was developed. For example, Our members receive brow waxing for $15, rather than $20 for non-member and Signature facials for $49, rather than $69.

I hope that you will contact me directly and allow me to make this up to you. I would love to speak with you either on the phone, in person, or email so that I can make sure that you have a true experience of what Facelogic is supposed to be about and that I can get more information as to the skincare therapist that you were with to give them appropriate feedback as well. I have listed my contact information below.

Sincerely,
Faryn Clark

Yeah, you can get your eyebrows threaded at Nail Bar for $15. I am not sure about the lip but it's probably and extra $10. I have no idea what the flicking was about unless she was just trying to stimulate the blood flow in your face???

I have yet to try out this place again but I am hoping you and I just had a bad experience. I will give them one more try because the owner is really sweet but I'm not sure when I will make it in again.

To me this is a version of massage envy only with facials. I have had many facials at top notch salons and day spas. This wasn't one of them. The esthetician flicked my face alot. What the hell does that do? And the charged me $37 for a brow and lip wax. Holy crap that is double what you would pay anywhere else. They call it brow design. Whatever! Never going back.

Hey Melissa!

I am glad you had such a positive experience at Facelogic and if I am ever in there again I will be sure to ask fro Brianna. I also love the way microdermabrasion leaves my skin feeling clear and smooth. I used to get them often in high school at my dad's office, but since I live in Dallas now I only get them occasionally. I don't get a facial every month either but I do pay close attention to my skin at home.

I love the Clarisonic and I am going to buy one soon. I got one for my mom for Christmas and I use hers from time to time and LOVE the way it makes my skin feel. I personally do not think it is necessary to get a facial monthly although I know it is a good thing to do if you can afford it. I do masks at home such as the Fresh Rose Face Mask (http://bit.ly/d6EcDb), which is very hydrating, and I also use SkinCeuticals Intense Line Defense.

I will ask my friend who is an esthetician for her honest opinion about the Clarisonic vs. a monthly facial and let you know what she says! I went to Riviera Spa yesterday for spa week and got a massage and it was amazing. I am going next week for a facial and will let you know how it was.

As for the Eminence products, I am glad I bought the mist but they are very pricey. I think I may try out Caudalie's Beauty Elixir (http://bit.ly/92nwWY) when I run out of the Stone Crop Mist.

Let me know how you like the Eminence powdered sunblock and also, if you try out any more spas in the area let me know how you like them!

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Facelogic. You're review was the only one I had of the Lovers Lane location, so I came in prepared for a sales pitch. That said, I have very little experience with facials. I booked a microdermabrasion for Spa Week. My facialist(Brianna) was excellent. She did talk to me about the membership at Facelogic but it didn't seem pushy.

As I was leaving, I was hooked into purchasing the Eminence powdered sunblock w/ SPF 30 (http://www.eminenceorganics.com/products/index....). While pricey, I haven't encountered a product like this before and loved the idea of being able to reapply sunblock throughout the day w/o having to redo my make up each time. I also bought a Clarisonic. So, it was a pricey day for me, but they never pushed me on the membership again.

Personally, I don't see the need for a monthly facial. I do love the result of the smooth skin and even skin tone that resulted from the microdermabrasion. I look maintaining the results with the Clarisonic. What are you thoughts on the Clarisonic vs. a monthly facial?

Thank you so much for your response Faryn, and there is no need for you to take the blame. I truly felt like you were a breath of fresh air and you were the only person in the spa that made me feel welcome. I assume it was my fault for the confusion about media week. I had simply made my own appointment for the signature facial a few days before I came in, and was confused when it was mentioned to me that I was coming in for media week.

As for the pressure I felt, I told my facialist what facial I wanted and she kept trying to get me to purchase facials that were almost double the price. This went on for about 10 minutes. As for the products, I thought I made it very clear to her in the beginning that my dad had a spa in his office and I got all of my products from him.

I will send you an email about my concerns in order for you to know what all happened without having to put it all out in the blogosphere! I am sorry for any trouble that I have caused you and I will be in touch soon. Thanks again for your response.
